PlatinumGames”NEO-CLASSIC ARCADE series is a continuation of the spirit and joy of old-fashioned gaming by utilizing modern technology. the first project in this effort includes Sol Cresta. Sol Cresta takes the docking as well as formation strategy of old-fashioned shooting games Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and elevates them through the “free-form docking” method. Yamato, the flagship Yamato made up of three ships Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano are able to utilize different types of attack dependent on the way in which three of the ships are placed. One of the key factors to defeating Mandler’s armies of invading troops is to dock splitting and re-forming ships.
